【编者按】近日，广州市教研院鲁宗干教授莅临黄冈中学广州增城学校（黄广教育集团成员，简称黄广增城学校）指导小学英语教学工作。鲁教授根据我校小学英语的实际情况，结合他多年丰富而全面的经验，针对老师们在英语教学中遇到的问题，组织大家进行了深入的交流探讨,为我校小学部英语教学开启了新的思路。我校英语老师郭慧珍拟写了如下英文新闻稿，请一起看看......

On March 8, 2018, a cloudy but passionate date, Mr.Lu Zonggan, professor in Guangzhou Research Institute, brought a special gift to English teachers on primary school English teaching in Huanggang Middle School Guangzhou Zengcheng Branch.     

According to our actual situation, he, combining with his rich and comprehensive experience, targeted at the problems happened in our ordinary classroom teaching and organized us to explore the English instruction in an extensive way. At the same time, he also raised some advanced new thought which of great value in our English teaching and of marvelous help to our primary English teachers.

During this seminar, Miss Shenqin conducted a fantastic reading class that is “ Unit 4 We can save the animals” in Grade six. With adequate preparation, this class' activities interlocking, goal-oriented and the reading skills developed step by step. Students were interested in this class as well as understood they should protect the animals from now on. 

After  this  highly  beneficial  class, it  came  to professor's   evaluation.  Professor   Lu gave  some  specific  suggestions. Firstly  he highly  praised  Miss  Shenqin's  firm  grounding teaching  skills  meanwhile  put forward  some  precious  advice  on  how  to  make  a  perfect   instructional  design  and how  to make  our  classroom  teaching  more  efficient.  At last,  we  the  teachers also  brought  up  some  opinions.  All in all,  we discussed  in a relaxed  harmonious   cheerful  contact  atmosphere  together.

  This teaching and researching activity expanded our primary English teachers' horizon in a larger scale. We got improved in English teaching after this seminar, it really made a difference for all of us.
